Message	have a new set of tires mounted I didn't even take my car to the tire shop. Not wanting to bother to put the entire car on jack stands, I made two seperate trips, one for the front pair and the second for the rears. Since the tread was directional, I wrote on a piece of masking tape which wheel was the left and which was right. Without even taking into the consideration my concern about over torqueing lug nuts, frankly, I don't even want to risk tire people jacking my car up. I do live about a third of a mile from tire stores, however. The best way to predict the future is to create it.
